One of my photographs from Istanbul Collection was used as stage background to complete a Solo Dance Performance; "Istanbul Walking / Ein Tanzsolo zwischen Europa und Asien "  in Theater Bremen, Germany.

Upcoming Show: Contemporary Art Ruhr 2011

I am very glad joining the prestigious art show C.A.R.2011 for the second time. My work titled; Zwenkauer See #01, a photograph i have taken in 2009 in Sachsen Germany, will be exhibited in Unesco heritage buildings of Zollverein Art District, within the Talents section of the show. the exhibition will take place in 28-30 October 2011.

Impressions from KuboShow

Doing art is sharing something very private of yours with other people. That’s why hanging my photography works on the walls of fairs/galleries making me feel like looking for new friends. And this is above all one the most satisfying outcome of such gatherings. It was a similar experience in KuboShow2010. We had a great weekend in the historical atmosphere of Flottmann-Hallen in Herne.

Hi there,
I am very excited joinning the Art Fair KuboShow 23-24th of October 2010 in Herne, Germany. This will be the second time i join an event within the framework of RUHR2010 Cultural Capital of Europe. I will be one of the only two invited Photographers between 100 artists. Four large format prints, two limited editions, will be exhibited during the long weekend. It will be a great chance for those following my works to see some new editions.

"The Island" at the Contemporary Art Fair of Ruhr

'The Island" will be exhibited at the Unesco World Heritage Zollverein area in Essen.
C.A.R. is an initiative of "Ruhr Cultural Capital of Europe 2010" program.

contemporary art ruhr (C.A.R.) vereint Akteure des Kunstmarktes unter einem Veranstaltungsdach: Galerien für zeitgenössische Kunst, herausragende Kunst-Projekte, renommierte Institutionen, Preisträger sowie ausgewählte KünstlerInnen mit Förderflächen nehmen teil. Das Konzept ist fair, demokratisch, minimalistisch und pulsierend. Auch Newcomer erhalten in einem eigenen Ausstellungsbereich die Möglichkeit, sich an einer hochrangigen Messe zu beteiligen.

It took quite a while to create a new website format which allows me to add content much easily. Now there is also a blog within bugrahan.com. We will try to upload news and recommendations regularly to this blog.

Solo Exhibition in Spinnerei

we had a very successful exhibition in Spinnerei art district in Leipzig. Over 1500 people visited the exhibition in two days.
